Melanie Pitkin is a Postdoctoral Research Associate for the Egyptian Coffins Project and this AHRC funded Creative Economy Fellowship at the Fitzwilliam Museum.
Melanie received her PhD from Macquarie University on the dating of Egyptian false doors and funerary stelae of the First Intermediate Period and previously worked for more than a decade as a museum curator in Australia.
